Premier Breeder and Exhibitor - Old Glory Farm - The Howe's

Tunis were the largest breed shown at KILE this year which may have contributed to the overall success of the sale. 117 Tunis were entered and 98 were shown.

Champion Sale Ewe - Ewe lamb, Sonshine Acres, Walter and Denise Clark
Res. Champion Sale Ewe - Yearling ewe, Old Glory Farm, Billy Howe

12 animals were sold at an average of $404.16. Yearling ewes averaged $460.00 and ewe lambs averaged $364.28. The champion ewe lamb of Sonshine Acres topped the sale at $550.00. The brightest spot of the sale was the fact that 9 of the 12 animals were sold to youth. The animals went to the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Minnesota and many were sold to new Tunis buyers. Two youth buyer credits were given.
