Champion Ewe

RQL Farms, David & Sandra Rock of Hillsborough, NJ....a yearling ewe...brought $575 and purchased by Max Garmon of Scarlet and Gray Farm, Kenton, OH 


Reserve Champion Ewe

The reserve ewe was won by an early spring ewe lamb owned by Kleman Family Tunis of Ohio and it sold for $525.


Champion Ram

Darling Tunis, Jim and Louise Dunham of Zanesfield, OH....brought $500 and purchased by Jeff Rakow of Wisconsin.


Reserve Champion Ram

The Kelly Stumpe Family of Tuscola, IL had the reserve with a spring ram lamb that sold for $650.

 


Here are the sale averages:

  •  7 yearling ewes averaged $446 with the high being $700 and the low being $200.

  •  3 Fall ewe lambs averaged $444 with the high being $625 and the low being $200.

  •  21 spring ewe lambs averaging $230 with the high being $525 and the low being $150.

  •  Only 2 yearling rams sold for $500 and $200.

  •  7 spring ram lambs sold for prices between $650 and $150 with the average being $271.


Thanks to RQL Farms (Dave and Sandra Rock) of Hillsborough, NJ  for donating a ewe lamb to the Tunis Youth Fund. She brought $425 from buyer Bob Bartholomew.
