Serafin writes... Just wanted to give a very enthusiastic report from
Missouri. Our judge Evan Schneider was extremely impressed with the quality
of sheep brought to this sale. The classes ran extremely deep and the
quality of these animals would be an asset to anyone's flock.

Mom's Tunis - Barbara Cassell
From Louise Dunham...The sale was quick & strong! My figures aren't
official...just notes from the bleachers. According to my math....the 34
head sold averaged around $551 with prices ranging from $150 to $1350!
Yearling ewes averaged $600 and ewe lambs averaged $500 with the ram lambs
around $516. It appears that everything sold.
There were a lot of people at the pens on
Wednesday afternoon. And several new people were in that group. Sale
officials seemed to be pleased with the prices also. I'm sure that Missouri
Tunis officers will have more details on their site and in the newsletter.
But for the 1st sale...it went super! Louise
