The NTSRI is seeking persons interested in serving the position of TREASURER. Please contact any member of the Board of Directors to express your interest.

NOTICE REGARDING CHRISTENING:

The NTSRI Board of Directors has authorized the christening of rams and ewes for a fee of $25.00 per animal named. If you want to name your registered Tunis and have that name appear on the registration paper, you must christen your sheep through the NTSRI's registry group, Associated Registries.
In order to ensure that the initial granting of christened names is fair with regard to breeders that have already been using a name, the Board of Directors has established that all persons should submit existing names to be christened by U.S mail or fax by January 1st. If the name is not requested by anyone else by that date, the person will be awarded that name. If two persons timely request the same name, the christened name will include the breeder's name as well. Therefore, if both Mr. Smith and Mr. Jones submitted the name "Big One" for a ram, then Mr. Smith's ram would be awarded "Smith's Big One" and Mr. Jones would be awarded "Jones Big One".

After January 1st, names will be awarded to the person who first requests the name as determined by the postmark or fax time stamp to Associated Registries.
If you have any questions, please contact your Director or Associated Registries.

Tunis Ewe Jackpot

The Tunis Yearling Ewe Jackpot Show provides Tunis breeders the opportunity to nominate bred and owned ewe lambs with the hope that they will mature into the ewe that will win the National Yearling Ewe Jackpot Show in the following year.  The show will be an annual event to be held each year at North American International Livestock Exhibition (NAILE); any member of the NTSRI may enter.  A special Yearling Ewe Class at NAILE will determine the winners.  Ewe lambs nominated in 2011 will be shown at NAILE 2012 and so on year after year.
